SPASMOSLOP in Ballarat video

Thanks heaps to REFUND for filming and uploading this awesome high-quality (watch in HD!) video of my set at RADICAL AUDIO TEMPLE in Ballarat.... I've been working on my solo stuff a lot this year... it's a constant work in progress and I think this video really captures the vibe of what I'm trying to do with SPASMOSLOP these days. Looking forward to recording soon for some new release(s) in 2016!

CLOGGED @ Public Bar video

More suitably grotesque-sounding phonecam shit from Brad.... this was a bloody great gig! Thanks to Kingbean for organising, Shagnum for playing for the first time in more than 5 years and everyone who came down.

New CLOGGED tunes

Phone-cam of 2 new CLOGGED songs from a recent jam, brrrrrrdle... we're all chomping to play these gigs coming up!

SUPER FUN HAPPY SLIDE @ OEF Melbourne 2014

Kingbean does it again, thanks mate!

UMBILICAL TENTACLE & CLOGGED videos & news

Thanks to Brad & Brendan/Kingbean for recording and uploading these. Cool to see footage from the UxTx gig at Footscray Park as it's a rare occasion where I didn't play synth and we get to see Brad with his undies on his head. Rock'n'roll baby.
Next up for UxTx - very excited that we're recording soon for a split 7" with legendary Japanese noisecore band and our own personal heroes, FINAL EXIT!!! And we're playing this gig:

https://www.facebook.com/events/1375681716064479/ - thanks to SHITWANK for organising!

As for CLOGGED - we recently recorded 14 tracks in my studio with techno/electronica producer Juxtpose for our debut EP or whatever it is. Definitely not techno... Mr. Juxtpose is using his skills to help us create a raw, nasty, noisy goregrind recording... of course! It's sounding great so far. We'll put some samples online soon... probably...

Lounge Pervert Trio & Friends @ Dane Certificate video

Some dark noisy video of a recent gig at Dane Certificate magic shop in Brunswick. Lounge Pervert Quintet? Fun gig! Thanks to Josh Cuss for filming.

FUCKED video by Nylstock

Cheers to Chris Nylstock of Venting Gallery/Unaustralians for posting this Fucked video, taken from one of our gigs at Make It Up Club... I think. Evidently this is #761 from the "1000 Short Movies About Experimental Music" project that Mr. Nylstock has been working on for several years now. Check out the other vids in his channel, including a maaaarvelous capture of my noisehomeboy Brad Smith playing solo @ Noise Bar.

THE KILL did the USA

The Kill have just been on tour on the East Coast of USA playing Maryland Deathfest and a bunch of sweeeet shows in New York, New Jersey, Virginia, Washington DC and Philadelphia. There are already a few videos up on youtube:

The Kill @ Maryland Deathfest

The Kill @ The Bordello, Philadelphia

The Kill @ Strange Matter, Richmond

And photos around if ya do a bit of searching. Thanks to the people who shot these and put them up. Super huge mega thanks to our driver and "cultural advisor" Jason Wade and everyone who helped organise stuff, let us crash at their house, fed us, attended to the shows, moshed up a storm and made us feel so welcome. Extra mondo ultra-brutal grinding thanks to the other bands we played with, especially our tour-mates Noisear and Shitstorm, who absolutely ripped arse every time they played, and our fellow Aussies in Doubed Over and Internal Rot. Mad holy-fuck-that-was-good thanks to Last Days of Humanity for blowing my balls off at MDF. It was my grind nerd dream come true to see these guys play! I might post more about all this later...

RCKTSRGRY videos!

A bit of a preview for our gig next week. Check out these nifty RCKTSRGRY videos put together by Tina Douglas using mashed old sci-fi movies:
