Re-Post from RADICAL BLARGHST

"Fat throbbing gore riffs, hyper blasting, deranged Drumming, 3 headed roar/shriek/shifted Vocal, a big Noisecore hard-on sporting Goregrind monstrosity, bursting out of a secret lab and consuming scientists whole. Dense, nasty, un-serious, bizarre and brutal." -Gonzo Karaoke '15

Yep, pretty much. Down to the last pile of copies so get on it if you can't be buggered waiting around for the next run of tapes sometime in the new year.

Humble thanks to Gonzo Karaoke for that rather insightful review! It really nails what we're going for with this band. Much appreciated!

Recent stuff - 29/11/2015

Heaps of gigs over the last few months... SUPER FUN HAPPY SLIDE in Melbourne, UMBILICAL TENTACLE, CLOGGED and RITUAL OF THE BEUG in Newcastle, and CLOGGED took a stupid "cool band photo" on the highway back to Melbourne, MONO/DISCO/SPASM at Magnet, SPASMOSLOP in Ballarat, THE KILL went to Perth with CAPTAIN CLEANOFF and got driven around in a crazy old bus, first performance of a new trampoline-noisecore band with Matt Faisandier and Gemma Falconer at Make It Up Club... haven't updated the blog for ages cause I've been doing all this stuff... here's photos and videos from various people, all completely out of order, I've lost track, blog-writing is annoying... Lloyd Honeybrook, Carey Knight, Peter James, Josie Jo, Tina Douglas, Brad Smith, Matt Faisandier and others, thanks everyone for making the effort to document all the great stuff that happens in our beloved Unpopular Music scenes!

CLOGGED @ Public Bar video

More suitably grotesque-sounding phonecam shit from Brad.... this was a bloody great gig! Thanks to Kingbean for organising, Shagnum for playing for the first time in more than 5 years and everyone who came down.

FACE MELTING GRINDCORE - 18/07/2015

Flyer/video/gig organising all by Kingbean - a truly dedicated patron of the fine art of grindcore!

UMBILICAL TENTACLE & CLOGGED videos & news

Thanks to Brad & Brendan/Kingbean for recording and uploading these. Cool to see footage from the UxTx gig at Footscray Park as it's a rare occasion where I didn't play synth and we get to see Brad with his undies on his head. Rock'n'roll baby.
Next up for UxTx - very excited that we're recording soon for a split 7" with legendary Japanese noisecore band and our own personal heroes, FINAL EXIT!!! And we're playing this gig:

https://www.facebook.com/events/1375681716064479/ - thanks to SHITWANK for organising!

As for CLOGGED - we recently recorded 14 tracks in my studio with techno/electronica producer Juxtpose for our debut EP or whatever it is. Definitely not techno... Mr. Juxtpose is using his skills to help us create a raw, nasty, noisy goregrind recording... of course! It's sounding great so far. We'll put some samples online soon... probably...

SETE STAR SEPT (Jap) Melbourne gigs!

"Japan's relelntlessly touring 2 piece grind tornado SETE STAR SEPTreturn to Australia and add to their body count of mangled onlookers.Internal Rot, ASBESTOSISIS, Holy Boner, Terror Strike and Unnatural Birth will get things rolling on Friday November 7th at the Bendigo Hotel. Above flyer by Christoph IxRx... alternate flyer from Simon Pissbolt (I think)...

CLOGGED - first gig!

Can't wait to play this killer gig for our first show with CLOGGED, a band that has been talked about for years and is now finally happening, with Zev Langer (Roskopp/Headless Death etc.) on guitar, Brad Smith (most of my other bands/Internal Rot) on drums and me on vocals, and we just added Matt Faisandier (The Convoy/Akaname) on bass... thanks to Christoph for organising, here's an early version of one of our songs...
