---------------------

Should be a top night of spacey sounds, synths, stimulating visuals, noises, and knob-tweaking for frequency fanatics! In the comfy high-ceiling surrounds of Tina's studio. Feel free to bring a blanket/pillow/beanbag if ya wanna really get down low with the bass waves and drift off into the next dimension. Groovy man.

RCKTSRGRY / NGC 1275 combo @ Tina's Studio - 17/12/11

Tina's having another party at her studio where two of my bands are coming together for a planet-moving spacey noise collab extravaganzaaaaa!

RCKTSRGRY MISSION TO NGC 1275

Nik Kennedy - Vocals/Noisemakers/Electronics

Also playing: Mathew Greentree; Heitong singing traditional Chinese mountain songs; jamming; "open mic" and more to come.
It's a "private party" so I've blacked out the address, but if you wanna come, or possibly even play a set, email me or leave a comment here or something.

RCKTSRGRY videos!

A bit of a preview for our gig next week. Check out these nifty RCKTSRGRY videos put together by Tina Douglas using mashed old sci-fi movies:

RCKTSRGRY @ Make It Up Club - 15/03/11

Breath and the occult art of the ancient XYZ coordinate radiomap feature in this week's concert. Sydney voice artist Tony Osborne returns with his extended, jumbled and reconfigured explorations of the possibilities of vocal enunciation and (in)communicative action. RCKTSRGRY make a rare appearance that expands the limits of the space/time/sound intra-dimension. And the raw power of really smooth screeching/howling by local voice-master, Shane Van Den Akker.

• MADHEAD AKA Tony Osborne (Syd) (solo vocals and electronics)
• RCKTSRGRY featuring Nik Kennedy (adapted instruments and electronics) and Tina Douglas (hacked'n'cracked wiimote)
• Shane Van Den Akker (voice)

Flyer by Tina Douglas! It's been a while since RCKTSRGRY played so I'm really stoked for this one. And we'll be playing to kooky sci-fi visual projections created by Tina, sweeeeeet!
