This Tuesday at MIUC is a torrential onslaught of scaturient sonics, as three solo cacophonists dredge through the atramentously anarchistic realm of astringent dissonance to adjure and agitate perceptible frequential extents into audibly delectable textural densities.
Spasmoslop spews forth the genus of genius only attainable via the persistent auricular ingestion of sublimated brutalities, augmented with anodic accretions and the requisite gargling of glass, for the umpteenth consecutive year conjuring the consummatest in electro-oral noise.
Bleach Boys summons corrupted quixoticisms from the thresholds of the analogue apocalypse, sparking shimmering sensatory paroxysms from antediluvian playback apparatuses and excavating sublimely stygian resonances dripping in serene restlessness.
And Scumwitch conveys ceremonially cathartic caterwauls of cut-n-waste chaos cobbled from deafening detrital dystopia, shredding oscillatory spectra into clamorous turbulences that ruthlessly cleave through speaker cones and cerebella alike.
• Spasmoslop aka Nik Kennedy (Electro-Oral Noise)
• Bleach Boys aka Maya Victoria Kjellstrand(Tapes, Electronics)
• Scumwitch aka Romy Seven (Electronics)

DISCOBEANS MONDAY - 4th July 2011
+ BISCOTTI
Baking wonky beats that will break your knees and groove lines that will simmer until you are boiling. Kooky, colourful cocktail of sounds and dance with recipes from around the world and special home secrets.
+ SPASMOSLOP
Bruce McDarryl: Demented voiceboxisms, blown-out beats, mondo manic static, subsonic gut massages, malfunctioning cyborg errors and fuck knows what else.
+ PORPOISE TORTURE
Dark tape sounds, manipulation and grimisms of the voice from Christopher L.G. Hill (KRYSTOFFKRVSTOFFISTON, MOFFARFARRAH, GUGG, GAUNTLET etc.) No porpoises will be harmed during this performance.
+ ERNIE ALTHOFF
Ernie Althoff has been performing experimental music in Melbourne for 33 years. The fact that some of his audience aren't even that old themselves indicates some kind of perseverance and/or survival skillbase that he sees as a good thing! He may bring some electrically powered music machines, and other assorted bits and pieces with which to do sonic things at table height.

SPASMOSLOP @ MIUC
Tuesday December 14th, 2010 Gridish is a novel approach to realtime processing devised by John Jacobs in which one is forced to wonder what happens when four performers connect without a signal in a feed-forward critical mass of no-input hazard. Harriet Morgan debuts her new solo project. And the Spasmoslop is back with sonic mayhem.
+ Gridish, featuring John Jacobs, Ceri Hann, Steve Law and Marco Cher-Gibard (feed-forward loop processing)
+ Harriet Morgan (solo bruitism)
+ Spasmoslop, AKA: Nik Kennedy (vocals, bucket, electronics, and stuff)
