Subsonic timbres and gurgling textures feature in this week's concert. The Swamp, boasting a quartet of irreverent firebrands from Melbourne's internationally renowned grindcore scene (Die Pigeon Die, Holy Boner, The Kill and Internal Rot, no less), explore the limits of voice-noise and effected density. The debut performance of a new realtime processing/diatonic feedback project from Terry McDermott and Piers Morgan. And Sydney emigre, Milica Stefanovic makes her MIUC solo debut, with extended and abstracted electric bass guitar.

It kinda sounds like a scene from a horror movie where someone is walking through a spooky swamp, then gets eaten alive by swamp monsters. Pictured: my set-up, including aquarium air bubbler (of doom).
