This Tuesday at MIUC is a torrential onslaught of scaturient sonics, as three solo cacophonists dredge through the atramentously anarchistic realm of astringent dissonance to adjure and agitate perceptible frequential extents into audibly delectable textural densities. 

Spasmoslop spews forth the genus of genius only attainable via the persistent auricular ingestion of sublimated brutalities, augmented with anodic accretions and the requisite gargling of glass, for the umpteenth consecutive year conjuring the consummatest in electro-oral noise. 

Bleach Boys summons corrupted quixoticisms from the thresholds of the analogue apocalypse, sparking shimmering sensatory paroxysms from antediluvian playback apparatuses and excavating sublimely stygian resonances dripping in serene restlessness. 

And Scumwitch conveys ceremonially cathartic caterwauls of cut-n-waste chaos cobbled from deafening detrital dystopia, shredding oscillatory spectra into clamorous turbulences that ruthlessly cleave through speaker cones and cerebella alike.

'STILL AGITATED' - 13/02/2016

'Still Agitated' is a conceptual improvisation by Todd Anderson-Kunert, requiring five drummers and five noiseicians to surround the edges of the room, and follow simple visual and audible directives as they spread from one performer to the next.

Thanks heaps to REFUND for filming and uploading this awesome high-quality (watch in HD!) video of my set at RADICAL AUDIO TEMPLE in Ballarat.... I've been working on my solo stuff a lot this year... it's a constant work in progress and I think this video really captures the vibe of what I'm trying to do with SPASMOSLOP these days. Looking forward to recording soon for some new release(s) in 2016!

Heaps of gigs over the last few months... SUPER FUN HAPPY SLIDE in Melbourne, UMBILICAL TENTACLE, CLOGGED and RITUAL OF THE BEUG in Newcastle, and CLOGGED took a stupid "cool band photo" on the highway back to Melbourne, MONO/DISCO/SPASM at Magnet, SPASMOSLOP in Ballarat, THE KILL went to Perth with CAPTAIN CLEANOFF and got driven around in a crazy old bus, first performance of a new trampoline-noisecore band with Matt Faisandier and Gemma Falconer at Make It Up Club... haven't updated the blog for ages cause I've been doing all this stuff... here's photos and videos from various people, all completely out of order, I've lost track, blog-writing is annoying... DUALS @ Conduit Arts - 28/09/2013

DUALS is a collaboration between Conduit Arts boards members Todd Anderson-Kunert and Leo Kavanagh. It will be an evening of noise makers and improvisers coming together to perform in duo formats over the course of the night. The match ups (noise/improviser) are random and shall be selected on the night of the gig making sure that each performance is free to be as open, spontaneous and instinctual as possible.
